These pieces are decontextualized Wikipedia articles. The words from an article are scrambled and then reassembled on the page in random order. The results invite the viewer to find new connections among the words and reconstruct threads of meaning. The deconstructed display retains only the words and their semantic content, but adds the visual elements of color, relative word size, and relative location on the page. Each new viewer constructs new contexts, and new meanings emerge. The pieces take their names from the source article in Wikipedia.
